PRIMER VIKTOR 400 is a priming, base and impregnation lacquer to be applied on soft aluminium foils that are used in the packaging industry. Its most common usage is a full-width spread onto an aluminium foil (yoghurt lids, etc.), backed or extruded foils (packaging for butter, etc.), for the purpose of subsequent printing of graphic motifs or forming a barrier against the effects of the packaged product (namely spread cheese packagings) or creating a protective anti-corrosion layer. The lacquer is of the nitrocellulose-base solvent type. It possesses no thermoplastic properties and excels at its high resistance against temperature – in the short term it withstands up to 250°C. Nevertheless it cannot resist the effects of whey if applied onto foils to pack the cottage cheese! Chlorine free.
